Butuan City – The Listahanan of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga upholds the management of a reliable and accurate data in assessing the Senior Citizens targeted for inclusion to the Social Pension Program and to mainstream families or households in need of special protection under the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer of Families in Need of Special Protection (MCCT-FNSP) to the regular Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of the Department.

On May 21-June 6, 2014, the Listahanan led the conduct of special validation for senior citizens and those families classified under the MCCT-FNSP program.

Currently, the Listahanan team headed by Regional Focal Person Dante S. Rosales revalidated those households that cannot be found in the projects’ database.

“We revalidated the data to ensure that all the information is true and correct,” Rosales said.

In Caraga region, a total of 16,251 assessed beneficiaries of which 7,924 were from Social Pension and 8,327 were from MCCT-FNSP.

“DSWD through the leadership of Sec. Corazon Juliano-Soliman is enthusiastically implementing the programs and services so that no one will be left behind. No Juan will remain poor,” Regional Director Minda B. Brigoli said.

Brigoli added that the data is very important because this the basis of in ensuring that programs and services are given to those who are really in need of assistance and the resources will not be wasted.

“We want to keep our database that is Sigurado, Kumpleto at Totoo,” she summed.
