Butuan City – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, in its role as chair, led the 2nd Quarter Meeting of the Regional Committee for Disability Affairs (RCDA) to strengthen inter-agency coordination for disability-inclusive policies and programs.

The meeting brought together representatives from national government agencies and local government units’ Persons with Disability Affairs Offices (PDAOs) to discuss strategies for the protection and promotion of the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the Caraga Region.

The committee also laid the groundwork for the upcoming observance of the 46th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week this July 2025, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive development and accessible services for all.
