To foster stronger collaboration in the implementation of the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga conducted a two-part activity titled “Strengthening Relationship Among SFP Stakeholders cum Technical Sharing on SFP Implementation” was conducted on June 2–4 for Batch 1 (Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Surigao del Sur Cluster 2), and June 4–6 for Batch 2 (Surigao del Norte, Province of Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Sur Cluster 1).
The activity aimed to build solid and cooperative relationships between SFP focal persons and their internal and external partners to ensure the effective implementation of the program in their respective local government units.Throughout the sessions, participants emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and effective communication in cultivating healthy partnerships with stakeholders. The activity also featured a technical sharing segment, which focused on the proper use of program implementation report templates and beneficiary databases in preparation for the 15th cycle of the SFP.
The SFP is a program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that aims to improve the nutritional status of children enrolled in Child Development Centers (CDCs) and Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP) groups by providing hot meals for a period of 120 days.
