On 4 July 2025, the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program – Regional Program Management Office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga officially concluded the two-day Cash-for-Work payout held in Butuan City. The event served 725 parent beneficiaries from 61 public elementary schools.
Under the program’s Cash-for-Work component, each parent received PHP 4,700, corresponding to the 20-day Nanay-Tatay sessions they attended from 20 May to 14 June 2025.
These sessions offered more than just learning opportunities. They equipped parents with tools to support their children’s education, strengthened family bonds, and promoted deeper engagement in their communities.
Through this initiative, DSWD Field Office Caraga reaffirmed its commitment to building inclusive, family-centered programs—uplifting parents as vital partners in raising resilient learners and shaping a better future.
