The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through the Supplementary Feeding Program, marked the 51st National Nutrition Month with a dynamic celebration that combined fun, advocacy, and learning.
The event featured the NutriQuiz, Nutri-Race, and Nutri Jingle Contest—activities that energized employees while highlighting the importance of healthy eating habits.
Partners from the National Nutrition Council (NNC) also joined the celebration, offering free nutrition counseling and expert guidance.
In her message, Protective Services Division (PSD) Chief Jessie Catherine Aranas reminded the Angels in Red Vests that “Nutrition is not a privilege, but a right—and ensuring it is a shared responsibility.”
Through this celebration, DSWD Field Office Caraga reaffirms its commitment to support the nation and the NNC in promoting nutrition and overall well-being for every Filipino.
Together, let’s build healthier communities—one nutritious choice at a time.
