The DSWD Field Office Caraga through its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) conducted a project inspection on August 27, 2025, in Barangays Los Angeles and Banza, Butuan City, to validate the implementation of the Consumer Store projects based on their approved proposals.

In Brgy. Los Angeles, the project is managed by the Los Angeles (LA) Sustainable Livelihood Program Association, while in Brgy. Banza, it is implemented by the Banza Bag-ong Paglaum Sustainable Livelihood Program Association.

The activity was joined by the Local Technical Working Group (LTWG) from the City Business Permit and Licensing Division, staff from the City Social Welfare and Development Division (CSWDD), respective Punong Barangays, and SLP staff.

The joint inspection ensures that projects are properly implemented, compliant with requirements, and moving towards sustainability, with the support of both local officials and the City Government.
