The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), successfully turned over livelihood grants to 11 associations under the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) fund source during the Municipal-wide Check Turnover Ceremony on September 4, 2025 in Gigaquit, Surigao del Norte.
The beneficiaries include Camboayon Women Pamana Association, Poncam Pamana Association, Poniente Youth Pamana Association, San Antonio Women Pamana Association, San Antonio Senior Citizen Pamana Association, San Antonio Youth Pamana Association, Mahanub Youthrepreneur Pamana Association, Marig-on Mamanwa Women Pamana Association, Tomorok Farmers Pamana Association, Boyobanwa Tribal Women Pamana Association, and Kamatriyo Pamana Association.
Present during the ceremony were Municipal Mayor Hon. Chandru T. Bonite, Municipal Social Welfare Officer Mrs. Aiglenn T. Molina, Commanding Officer of the 30th Infantry Battalion Cpt. Philip Regnier D. Calago, members of the Local Technical Working Group, Barangay Captains, POO staff, and representatives of the beneficiary associations.
