Tilapia Harvest in Barangay Tinigbasan, Tubay, Agusan del Norte!

In just a few months, the Project LAWA (Local Adaptation to Water Access) site in Barangay Tinigbasan has already produced a bountiful harvest of tilapia.

The freshly harvested tilapia, ready for marketing and sale.

Partner-beneficiaries harvested 120 kilos of tilapia, which were all purchased by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tubay.

 

Project LAWA, one of the initiatives of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, aims to address water scarcity in disaster-prone areas by promoting sustainable solutions.
