The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) has successfully conducted a two-day Lakbay Kabuhayan learning visit at Kasili Lakeside Hotel and Resort, Mainit, Surigao del Norte.

On the first day, participants visited the Mondano Poultry Farm, which manages over 13,000 laying hens, and the San Isidro Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA). The learning visit provided hands-on exposure to poultry operations, including biosecurity practices, feeding systems, and egg handling procedures, offering practical lessons that can be applied to their own livelihood projects.

The second day focused on knowledge-sharing sessions covering key topics such as health management and pest control. Participants also presented their community action plans, showcasing their commitment to replicate and strengthen Zero Hunger projects in their respective localities.
