The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), conducted field validation visits for the Provincial Winners of Pantawid Pamilya Model Partner Stakeholders in Health and Education in the provinces of Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Agusan del Norte on October 20-24, 2025.

The activity aimed to validate and recognize exemplary partner stakeholders in the fields of health and education who have significantly contributed to the effective implementation of the program. The validation process involved face-to-face interviews and on-site assessments with provincial winners, as part of the program’s criteria for the regional recognition.
Through this initiative, DSWD Caraga underscores the invaluable partnership of the Department of Health (DOH) and the Department of Education (DepEd) in promoting the well-being and development of 4Ps beneficiaries. This partnership plays a vital role in achieving the shared objectives of improving access to health and education services for poor and vulnerable families.
Alongside with other program partners, the regional winners will be awarded during the ALAYON 2025: 4Ps Regional Partner’s Summit in November giving recognition of their support in the implementation and sustaining the gains of the program.

Republic Act No. 11310 or the 4Ps Act, which was launched in 2008 and formally institutionalized in 2019, serves as the country’s primary poverty alleviation strategy and human capital investment initiative. It grants conditional cash assistance to qualified poor households for up to seven (7) years, aiming to enhance their health, nutrition, and education.
