The Disaster Response Management Team of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga has distributed Family Food Packs (FFPs) to families affected by the recent 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Manay, Davao Oriental, and also jolted parts of the Caraga Region.

As of this writing, an additional 26 FFPs have been distributed to affected families in Sta. Josefa, Agusan del Sur, while 85 FFPs were provided to families in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. In total, 678 affected families across the Caraga Region have now received food assistance from DSWD.
The local government units, in coordination with DSWD, continue to assess the situation to determine further needs and extend additional aid.

No photo description available.Meanwhile, the third shift of the DSWD Field Office Caraga Quick Response Team, under the guidance of Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga and in line with the directive of Secretary Rex Gatchalian, remains in close coordination with concerned LGUs and partner agencies to ensure immediate and well-coordinated response actions in affected areas.
