In observance of Mental Health Month, residents and staff participated in wellness and self-care sessions, highlighting the importance of emotional resilience, mindfulness, and mental well-being. The activities encouraged the girls to express their thoughts and feelings through sharing, and reflection — fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.

Meanwhile, in celebration of Indigenous Peoples Month, the residents showcased their talents by performing traditional dances and songs inspired by the rich culture and heritage of the country’s Indigenous communities. The event served as a reminder of the beauty of diversity and the importance of cultural appreciation.

Through these observances, the Home for Girls continues to promote holistic healing, inclusivity, and empowerment among its residents — nurturing not only their minds and hearts but also their pride in identity and culture.
