The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga was recognized as the second placer during the 18th Inter-Agency/LGU Statistics Quiz held earlier today, October 29, 2025, at the Pavilion, Watergate Hotel, Butuan City.

The event was hosted by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in collaboration with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Caraga, gathered representatives from various national government agencies and local government units (LGUs) across Caraga region.

Representing DSWD FO Caraga were Statistician II Merry Jane Calo and Statistician I Jerard Matildo from the Policy and Plans Division.

The Statistics Quiz served as one of the highlight activities during the closing ceremony of the 36th National Statistics Month (NSM) celebration, underscoring the importance of statistical literacy.
