The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program–National Program Management Office (SLP-NPMO) conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with selected SLP Associations (SLPAs) and staff of the DSWD Field Office Caraga SLP, today, October 15, 2025, in Barangay Taligaman, Butuan City.
The activity, led by DSWD Central Office Capacity-Building and Communication Section (CBCS) Head Ralph Raffy Daisog, together with PDO III Marvin Ladiao and PDO II Divine Grace Dela Cruz, aimed to assess the effectiveness of the region’s capacity-building and social marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement and support from the NPMO.
Alongside the FGD, the team also conducted a Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) Survey to measure participants’ understanding, perceptions, and practices related to the SLP. Results from the survey will be used to refine program implementation strategies and strengthen capacity-building interventions across the region.
This initiative underscores SLP-NPMO’s commitment to ensuring responsive and effective program delivery through continuous consultation, monitoring, and evidence-based planning with partners and stakeholders.
