A total of 138 partner-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the Municipality of Buenavista took part in the Katumanan 2025 Graduation cum Exit Ceremony held on October 30, 2025, at the Buenavista Gymnasium.
Spearheaded by the 4Ps Municipal Operations Office (MOO) of Buenavista, these households graduated from the program after attaining the Well-being Status of Self-Sufficiency in their living conditions.

The event was graced by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Jean Paul Parajes, Agusan del Norte Provincial Link (PL) Ruth Tambura, and Regional Information Technology Officer Jonas Peligrino.
On behalf of Buenavista Municipal Mayor Hon. Joselito T. Roble, the Municipal Administrator Atty. Juselle Tricia Roble-Mones delivered an keynote message. In her speech, she emphasized,
“The 4Ps is not designed to last forever. Katumanan marks the opening of a new door—it is you who must walk through it. Even after graduation, the LGU will continue to support and empower you toward a more progressive and sustainable life. That is why Mayor Roble continues to work hard to bring in big-ticket projects and livelihood opportunities for our community.”

The ceremony was also attended by Maria Bernadita Quijano, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO), and Ramon Joma Bungabong, representative from the Office of the Vice Mayor.
Through the LGU of Buenavista, each household received congratulatory gifts, including a certificate of recognition and a 5-kilogram sack of rice, as tokens of appreciation for their graduation from the program.
The 4Ps partner-beneficiaries took part in the Katumanan Graduation cum Exit Ceremony after achieving a Self-Sufficient level of well-being based on the Social Welfare and Development Indicator (SWDI) assessment.
The term “Katumanan,” a Bisaya word meaning fulfillment or realization, reflects the essence of the ceremony—an annual celebration of the 4Ps families’ triumph in breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
