The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga received 66 laptop units for the Crisis Intervention Section as part of the ongoing distribution under the Angels in Red Vests Go Kit Project.
The project, under the leadership of Secretary Rex Gatchalian, reaffirms the Department’s commitment to strengthening service delivery and enhancing the operational readiness of all Crisis Intervention Units and Sections nationwide.
Crisis Intervention Units (CIUs) serve as the Department’s frontline responders, providing immediate assistance to individuals and families in crisis. Enhancing their logistical and technological resources is expected to ensure faster case assessment, improved documentation, and more efficient delivery of urgent services.
The laptops will support the Crisis Intervention Program (CIP) in streamlining case management and expediting the processing of assistance for clients seeking immediate support.
The Field Office conveys its appreciation to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Secretary Gatchalian for their continued support in enabling more efficient service delivery through the provision of these units.
