The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) serves as the coordination hub where the Quick Response Team, headed by Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga, meets to ensure timely disaster response.

As response efforts continue for the effects of Typhoon Tino and the possible impact of Typhoon Uwan in the Caraga Region, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga remains proactive in addressing the needs of affected and potentially affected communities.

Led by Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga and Assistant Regional Director for Operations Jean Paul Parajes, and with the participation of the Quick Response Team (QRT) 2nd shift (4:00 PM to 12:00 MN), the office joined an online Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) meeting convened by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) on November 8, 2025.

Despite it being a Saturday, DSWD Caraga continues its round-the-clock preparations and coordination efforts to ensure timely and effective response to the needs of Caraga residents who may be affected by the weather disturbances.

These initiatives are in line with the directive of Secretary Rex Gatchalian to ensure the Department’s readiness in disaster response and the provision of necessary assistance to affected families.
