Exemplary Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries from across the Caraga Region were recognized and awarded during the Acknowledging Beneficiaries’ Unwavering Narratives, Dedication, and Achievements (ABUNDA) 2025 held earlier today, November 11, 2025, at The Pavilion at Watergate, Butuan City.
Attended by 4Ps Caraga’s five Best Parent Leaders, five Huwarang Pantawid Pamilya families, five Exemplary Children accompanied by their guardians, and two 4Ps Topnotchers, were honored for their outstanding performances in their respective fields and communities. Furthermore, media partners were also present during the event.

Graced by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga and DSWD Caraga Assistant Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Jean Paul Parajes, the event also recognized the provincial and regional winners of the Huwarang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino, Exemplary Children, and Best Parent Leader searches.
A presentation on the 3As for K was also relayed by 4Ps Caraga Division Chief Crislea Celeste. She detailed the importance of the three As (ABUNDA, ALAYON, ANINAG) which are annual activities hosted by 4Ps Caraga to honor its beneficiaries, partners and internal workforce; which results into ‘K’ or Katumanan; the fulfillment of 4Ps Caraga’s mission to its beneficiaries in raising their levels of well-being.

During the program, the 4Ps Caraga flipbook “Bayhu: The Faces of 4Ps Families’ Transformative Journey” was launched. The flipbook features inspiring stories of Huwarang Pamilya awardees and is set to be released online, with a printed version to be published early next year.
Following the launching of “Bayhu”, a media forum between 4Ps Caraga, the attending beneficiaries, and media partners took place where the beneficiaries were given the opportunity to share their experiences with the 4Ps program, as well as the successes that they have obtained from their consistent perseverance to strive for a better life for their families.
An initiative by 4Ps Caraga, ABUNDA seeks to recognize the inspirational successes of exemplary 4Ps beneficiaries in the region. All Regional Search Winners are awarded their plaques and prizes during the event. Furthermore, ABUNDA is also a venue for an open discussion among 4Ps Caraga, its beneficiaries and media partners.
Republic Act No. 11310 or the 4Ps Act, which was launched in 2008 and formally institutionalized in 2019, serves as the country’s primary poverty alleviation strategy and human capital investment initiative. It grants conditional cash assistance to qualified poor households for up to seven (7) years, aiming to enhance their health, nutrition, and education.
