Joy filled the DSWD Field Office Caraga on December 6, 2025, as youth residents of the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) and the Home for Girls (HFG) received early Christmas gifts through the “Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya 2025” Nationwide Gift-Giving activity.

The event is part of the initiative of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Lisa Araneta-Marcos, which aims to bring hope and happiness to children in DSWD Centers and Residential Care Facilities (CRCFs) across the country. The Caraga Region joined more than 3,000 Filipino children from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in a day filled with joy, surprises, and renewed hope.

Now in its fourth year, Balik Sigla, Bigay Saya continues to make Christmas meaningful for children under government care—reminding them that they are valued, cared for, and never forgotten.

One day of joy.
One day of hope.
A memory that will remain in every child’s heart.
