The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through its Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), joined forces with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to intensify the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration. This initiative aims to ensure the successful enrollment of 4Ps beneficiaries into the national ID system, strengthen beneficiary records, and enhance program implementation.
4Ps Regional Program Coordinator Ms. Crislea Celeste solidified this continuing partnership with Ms. Crystal Jeanne Pastrana, Registration Officer of the PSA Agusan del Norte Provincial Statistical Office, on January 19, 2026. The agreement expands the reach of PhilSys registration through a simultaneous regional schedule, with 4Ps Caraga committing essential manpower to ensure the success of the drive.

Meanwhile, the 4Ps–Provincial Operations Office (POO) of Agusan del Norte, spearheaded by Provincial Link, Ms. Ruth Tambura, continues to conduct simultaneous PhilSys Mobile Registration activities in Buenavista and Cabadbaran City. 4Ps staff also facilitated orientation on the importance of the PhilID or National ID in accessing government services, particularly in relation to the 4Ps.
Beneficiaries were also guided on how to access their Digital National ID through the “bbmserbisyo.dswd.gov.ph” portal and the “eGovPH” app, enabling them to conveniently view and download their digital ID while awaiting the issuance of their physical card.
These initiatives underscore the government’s commitment—and the directive of DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian—to digital inclusion and improved program efficiency. By ensuring that 4Ps beneficiaries are registered in Philsys, the effort enhances data accuracy, supports faster verification processes, and streamlines the overall implementation of government programs.
