Lanuza, Surigao del Sur — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga carried out the third wave of relief distribution in Barangay Pakwan, Lanuza, Surigao del Sur earlier today, providing assistance to families affected by the recent Tropical Storm Basyang.
A total of 838 family food packs (FFPs) were distributed to identified beneficiaries as part of the agency’s continuing disaster response operations.
The initiative forms part of DSWD’s ongoing commitment to support affected communities in their recovery process by ensuring that essential food supplies reach those who need them most. Through sustained relief efforts, the agency continues to extend timely aid and help restore a sense of stability among disaster-stricken families.
