DSWD Field Office Caraga staff personally distributed Family Food Packs to Shear Line-affected families, working hand in hand with the community.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga continues to provide relief to families affected by the Shear Line weather disturbance in Agusan del Sur.

Today, a total of 1,492 Family Food Packs (FFPs) were distributed to flood-affected families in Bunawan, Esperanza, and La Paz. Of these, 51 packs went to families in Sitio Kilobidan, 540 in Barangay Oro, 241 in Barangay San Marcos, and 660 in Villa Paz, La Paz.

The Shear Line brought heavy rains that submerged several communities, displacing residents and damaging homes and livelihoods.

Through this ongoing initiative, DSWD Caraga reaffirms its commitment to ensure that no family is left behind. By sustaining relief operations, the agency continues to provide timely support to affected families as they begin to rebuild their lives and recover from the disaster.
