The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga continues the distribution of Family Food Packs (FFPs) to families affected by the Shear Line weather disturbance in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur.
375 Family Food Packs were distributed to internally displaced persons (IDPs) temporarily staying at Bunawan Brook Elementary School.
The Shear Line brought heavy rains that caused flooding in the area, forcing residents to evacuate their homes.
DSWD Field Office Caraga, under the leadership of Regional Director Mari-Flor Dollaga, continues to carry out immediate response efforts to ensure that all affected families receive the necessary assistance and that no one goes hungry.
This initiative is in line with the directive of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to ensure that no one is left behind during times of disaster.
