As the Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) was distributed to tourism workers in the Province of Dinagat Islands (PDI), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga seized the opportunity to conduct the Basta Beripikado, Mabilis ang Serbisyo (BBM Serbisyo) verification.
Through this initiative, 236 ECT recipients were successfully verified under the BBM Serbisyo platform. Verification enables beneficiaries to access DSWD services more quickly, as the PhilSys ID serves as a primary identification that can be validated online. This ensures a secure process and guarantees that assistance reaches the rightful recipients.
