The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga conducted a series of orientation and strategic planning sessions from February 18 to 20, 2026, to reinforce the efficient implementation of the Basta Beripikado, Mabilis ang Serbisyo (BBM Serbisyo) Web Application across the Caraga Region.

The activity was spearheaded by the Policy and Plans Division – Social Registry Section (SRS), formerly known as NHTS/Listahanan, under the leadership of Regional Field Coordinator Adelito T. Mendoza. The team conducted visits to local government units (LGUs) in Talacogon, Esperanza, Bayugan City, Prosperidad, and San Francisco in Agusan del Sur, with additional LGU engagements scheduled in the coming weeks.

The orientation aimed to provide a comprehensive discussion on the importance of the BBM Serbisyo Web Application, present key implementation strategies, and strengthen LGU commitment to its effective and sustained rollout.

BBM Serbisyo is an online platform that enables real-time verification of whether a DSWD client is registered with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) or National ID. It also serves as a secure and efficient mechanism for obtaining clients’ PhilSys Card Numbers (PCNs), ensuring faster processing of social protection services.

The initiative highlights the continued partnership between DSWD Field Office Caraga and LGUs in advancing streamlined, reliable, and client-centered service delivery for beneficiaries throughout the region.
