Even through the night, DSWD Field Office Caraga continues its relentless delivery of food packs to affected families.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga continues its relentless relief operations, delivering Family Food Packs (FFPs) to families affected by Tropical Storm Basyang.

As of February 6, 2026, the Field Office has distributed Family Food Packs to several municipalities across the region. A total of 42 families in Remedios T. Romualdez, Agusan del Norte; 800 in Tagana-an, Surigao del Norte; 202 in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte; 4,000 in Cortes, Surigao del Sur; 2,000 in Lanuza, Surigao del Sur; and 114 in Madrid, Surigao del Sur have already received food assistance.

Relief operations will continue throughout the weekend, with augmentation support being mobilized to ensure the timely and uninterrupted delivery of assistance to affected communities.
