The Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga has started utilizing the Basta Beripikado, Mabilis ang Serbisyo (BBM) Serbisyo as a mechanism for validating and profiling beneficiaries during the series of Community Assemblies and Program Orientation conducted for parents and guardians from March 3 to 7, 2026, in Butuan City.

BBM Serbisyo is an online platform that verifies whether clients or beneficiaries already possess a National ID. Through this system, the verification process for beneficiaries becomes faster and more efficient, helping ensure the orderly, systematic, and effective delivery of the program’s services.

Aside from BBM Serbisyo, the TBTP Caraga Regional Program Management Office also utilizes its own digitized profiling tool to further streamline the collection, processing, and maintenance of essential beneficiary data for the smoother implementation of the program.

During the activities, a total of 773 parents and guardians from various barangays in Butuan City participated in the community assemblies. This forms part of the broader implementation of the program across the region, which aims to reach more than 4,200 parents and guardians from various implementation sites in Caraga.

Apart from the program orientation, the use of BBM Serbisyo also served as a means of collecting necessary documents, parental consent, and beneficiary profiling data to ensure organized and efficient management of the program’s beneficiaries.

This initiative is part of the continuing preparations of the TBTP-RPMO Caraga to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the 20-day tutoring sessions for young Caraganons.
