The Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga continuously conducted Community Assemblies and Program Orientation for parents and guardians who are beneficiaries of the program in seven municipalities in the Province of Dinagat Islands from March 24 to 26, 2026.

The activity aimed to provide important information about the program while simultaneously conducting the validation, profiling, and consent process for beneficiaries.

Profiling and consent procedures were also carried out to gather the necessary data and ensure the participation and support of parents in the implementation of the program.

In line with this, the TBTP Caraga Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) utilizes the Basta Beripikado, Mabilis ang Serbisyo (BBM) Serbisyo, an online platform that assists in the verification of beneficiaries, including checking whether they already possess a National ID. In addition, TBTP also uses its own digitized profiling tool to further streamline data collection and management.

These activities form part of the continuing preparations of the TBTP-RPMO Caraga to ensure the smooth and systematic implementation of the 20-day tutoring sessions.

Through TBTP, DSWD Caraga continues to strengthen support for education and community development.
