The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, through its Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD), conducted a two-day orientation and DROMIC reporting workshop for Quick Response Team (QRT) members from April 13–14, 2026, held virtually.
Regional Director Mari-Flor A. Dollaga welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of strengthening disaster response capacities:
“Sa ating dalawang araw na orientation, we will gain knowledge that will strengthen how we respond in the field. What we learn here will directly influence how fast and how well we serve during disasters. At higit sa lahat, we will anchor our learning on key developments that will guide our operations moving forward.”
The activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of QRT members in disaster response operations, particularly in ensuring accurate and timely DROMIC reporting to support efficient, coordinated, and responsive service delivery during emergencies.
