A total of 677 students from Caraga State University (CSU) Main Campus and Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) Del Carmen Campus received the Cash-For-Training Support and Meal Allowance Stipend from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga through the Tara, Basa! Tutoring Program (TBTP) during a two-day payout on April 23–24, 2026.

The distribution took place on April 23 at CSU Main Campus, followed by April 24 at SNSU Del Carmen Campus, benefiting 361 students from CSU and 316 students from SNSU respectively.

The stipend is intended to help cover essential needs such as food and transportation, allowing the tutors and Youth Development Workers (YDWs) to focus on their roles in delivering literacy interventions and engaging parents in effective home-based learning support.

Beyond financial assistance, the program continues to empower the youth by strengthening their role in advancing education and community development. Through capacity-building and hands-on experience, TBTP fosters a culture of service, leadership, and social responsibility among future educators and community workers.
