The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga has released a total of Php 507,198,000, benefiting 169,066 qualified senior citizens under the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Program for the first quarter of 2026.

40,562 senior citizens from Agusan del Norte has received their quarterly stipend amounting to Php 121,686,000, while Agusan del Sur served 43,144 senior citizens, amounting to Php 129,432,000.

Surigao del Norte recorded 33,293 paid beneficiaries with a total disbursement of Php 99,879,000, while the Province of Dinagat Islands recorded 10,757 paid beneficiaries with Php 32,271,000. Meanwhile, Surigao del Sur served 41,310 indigent senior citizens who received Php 123,930,000 under the program.

Approximately 96.83 percent of the target beneficiaries have successfully claimed their first quarterly stipend as per generated in the Certificate of Eligibility (COE).

Currently, the DSWD Field Office Caraga serves 174,604 senior citizens under the program.

The DSWD Field Office Caraga continues to deliver vital assistance to indigent senior citizens across the region through its Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Program. Senior citizens are advised to stay informed of their second quarter payout schedules by coordinating with their respective Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDOs) and Offices for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA).
