Strengthening Partnerships for Women’s Empowerment! 

On June 19, 2026, the Women Welfare Program successfully conducted its 1st Semestral Kumustahan via Google Meet, bringing together Regional and Provincial/City Women Focal Persons to strengthen coordination, share updates, and discuss key initiatives for the first semester of 2026.

The activity featured a Knowledge Sharing Session on the Comprehensive Intervention Against Gender-Based Violence (CIAGV), including updates on its replication in Local Government Units (LGUs). Participants also shared accomplishments on the National Women’s Month Celebration, KALIPI Technical Assistance, KALIPI Spot-Check Monitoring Tool, and KALIPI Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) initiatives. The meeting concluded with discussions on the Women Focal Persons Directory and Group Chat, emerging issues and concerns, and the identified ways forward to further strengthen the implementation of Women Welfare Program initiatives across the region.

Together, we continue to strengthen collaboration and reaffirm our commitment to advancing gender equality, protecting the rights of women, and empowering communities across Caraga.
