The Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Filipino Family (RIAC-FF) and Regional Inter-Agency Coordinating and Monitoring Committee (RIACMC) successfully convened its 1st Quarter Meeting on March 12, 2026 at VCDU Prince Hotel, Imadejas Butuan City, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening family welfare initiatives across Caraga.

The meeting highlighted key accomplishments and updates on the implementation of family welfare programs, the regional situationer of the Solo Parent sector, the Search for the Natatanging Pamilyang Pilipino 2026, and the strategic planning for the implementation of Republic Act No. 11861 or the Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act. The committee also adopted a resolution supporting the establishment of Local Committees on Filipino Family (LCFF) and discussed upcoming activities for Solo Parent Week and National Filipino Family Week.

Together, RIAC-FF and its partner agencies continue to foster stronger collaboration in promoting resilient, empowered, and family-centered communities.
