Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga, recently held a Convergence Caravan for the two districts of Agusan del Sur at the Provincial Covered Court, Patin-ay,Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur on November 25, 2011. It is the second caravan conducted by the regional office.

Congresswoman Evelyn G. Mellana and Governor Adolph Edward Plaza graced the caravan where they met the beneficiaries of the big ticket projects of the DSWD namely: Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, KALAHI-CIDSS (Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services) and Self-Employment Assistance-Kaunlaran Integrated Program.  The participants represented the 13 municipalities and one city of Agusan del Sur.
