Butuan City – The National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction of the Department of Social Welfare and Development goes on-air over BOMBO Radyo in Butuan City.

The radio program serves as link between DSWD and the public particularly those who have questions about the NHTS-PR database.

The National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) is a list of data which identified who and where the poor are, explained Dante Rosales, Regional Focal Person for NHTS-PR.

Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo signed Executive Order 867 which states that through Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the National Government Agencies (NGAs) to use the data of National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction(NHTS-PR) as their basis for the implementation of their programs.
