BUTUAN CITY –The team of the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga region trained 35 encoders on the Data Entry Application (DEA) System before engaging the in the actual encoding of data gathered during the special validation of tropical storm Pablo victims.
Based on the data from DSWD’s Disaster Response Operations Monitoring Information Center (DROMIC), 45,690 are the target families to be assessed who were hardly hit by Pablo. During the actual assessment, however, a total of 59,225 were assessed.
As of this report, encoding of the assessment results is on-going. DSWD Caraga added another 35 encoders to fast track the special validation process.
