BUTUAN CITY-The Regional Area Based Standards Network (ABSNET) Federation (RAF) of Caraga commend all member Social Welfare Agencies (SWAs) and Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) including the Local Social Welfare and Development Officers (LSWDOs) in the conduct of its 1st Quarterly Meeting held at the Balanghai Hotel on March 25, 2014.
The presentation of the 2013 ABSNET Accomplishment Report and the 5 Year Strategic Plan substantiated the one day activity.
In her message, Regional Director Minda B. Brigoli, CESO III commends the partner Social Welfare Agencies (SWAs) and Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) with the active involvement of the Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDOs) for their high attendance and participation during the meeting. RD Brigoli strongly encouraged the RAF to be the co-lead in the quality implementation of all Social Welfare and Development Programs, Activities and Projects to target sectors. She also shared the DSWD Strategic Goals and challenged the RAF to focus in bringing about resiliency against poverty and disasters of the Pantawid Pamilya Households in the region.
On their part, the RAF took the challenge by committing to implement their SWD PAPs especially along capacity building of Pantawid Pamilya HHs along disaster preparedness to intensify compliance monitoring to member SWAs and SWDAs along standards and regulations. ### (by: Golda V.
