Butuan City– “Pagbabago Namin, I-Push Pa Natin; Ituloy ang Pagbabago” is the theme of this year’s Padayag (to show) to be held on May 12, 2016 at Almont Hotel’s Inland Resort, this city.
Padayag is an advocacy activity initiated by the Social Marketing Unit (SMU) in coordination with the Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) of Pantawid Pamilyang Pillipino Program.
The event aims to publicize the gains of the program and services implementation of DSWD in partnership with various partners and stakeholders. Other objectives are to provide an avenue for the partner beneficiaries to share their stories of positive change and to recognize the Expanded Student’s Grants-in-Aid Program for Poverty Alleviation (ESGP-PA) scholar graduates of 2016.
To be attended by around 200 participants including Pantawid Pamilya partner-beneficiaries across the region, regional directors from various national line agencies, presidents of selected universities and state colleges, media partners and staff from the field office, Padayag aims to recognize the exemplary performance of the scholars, and feature their stories of success.
After the activity, a press conference will follow to answer queries from the media.
Regional Director Minda B. Brigoli expressed her warm felicitations to the graduates as they have proven to other beneficiaries of the program that with passion, courage and dedication, poverty is never a reason not to succeed.
“I congratulate all the 61 ESGPPA scholars for their hard work, love and dedication to pursue their dreams,” said Brigoli.
Padayag was conducted last year attended by selected high school graduates across Caraga.
