Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program partner-beneficiaries in Brgy. Mat-e, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur are listening attentively to Jimbo Jamoner, Provincial Grievance Officer, as he discusses about the implications of pawning cash cards and reminds them of being responsible members of their communities. This was during the conduct of a special Family Development Session (FDS) on May 18, 2017 in the barangay.
During the session, Jamoner emphasizes to the partner-beneficiaries that pawning of cash card means disempowering them from their own responsibilities as the guardian/holder of the Pantawid Pamilya cash card which grants is purposely for the health and education of children aged 0-18.
Of almost nine (9) years program implementation in Caraga region, partner-beneficiaries continue to religiously comply with the institutionalized set of conditions asked by the program.
