As of today, a total amount of PHP 34,001,588.20 food and non-food assistance were already provided by DSWD Field Office Caraga, to wit:

 

78,310 Family Food Packs (FFPs) are delivered to 25 LGUs namely; LGU of Butuan City, Jabonga, Las Nieves, Nasipit, Kitcharao, and Tubay, Agusan del Norte; Burgos, Bacuag, Claver, General Luna, Sison, Malimono, Mainit, Del Carmen, Pilar, San Benito, Santa Monica, San Isidro, Dapa, Socorro, and Tubod, Surigao del Norte; Cagwait, Carmen, San Agustin, and Tago, Surigao del Sur as augmentation assistance to affected families of the community quarantine imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic.

 

3,349 Hygiene Kits amounting to PHP 5,555,572.38 were provided to the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) as assistance to Indigenous Peoples (IPs) during the pandemic.

 

7,234 500mL bottled water amounting to PHP 57,293.28 were also augmented for the returning Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos.

 

DSWD will continue to address the needs of the people in this trying times.
