Parent Leaders of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Caraga support the “Bawal Ang Epal Dito” Campaign for the national and local elections.
The campaign message of the Program during the election period is anchored on the “Active Citizenship” module that carries the three core messages: Magbantay (Vigilant), Makialam (Involved), and Makilahok (Participate).
“Ang isa ka aktibo na mamamayan, isa siya ka tawo nga naay pagpakabana sa atong lipunan. Aware ta kung unsay nahitabo sa atong palibot. Akong surion kung ang akong iboto na kandidato aduna bay katakus sa iyang pagdumala diri sa lungsod (An active citizen is a person that cares for our nation. A person that is aware of the current happenings. As a citizen, I will wisely choose a political candidate who has competence in handling our city),” Karel-Ann Mernilo, one of the parent leaders in San Vicente, Butuan City, said.
The campaign recognizes the important role of partners in shepherding the program’s beneficiaries toward an improved well-being, including the important role of the incumbent officials (local ang national). This campaign also highlights the rights and responsibilities of a citizen and strengthens the beneficiaries’ empowered decision-making.
Moreover, the Social Marketing Section of DSWD Field Office Caraga, together with the workers of the Field Office are strongly advocating for the active participation of the Filipino Citizens come #Halalan2022. ###(Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
