With thorough thinking, a group of participants consolidating their suggestions on the implementation process planning.

In preparation for the 4th year implementation of the Risk Resiliency Program- Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation- Disaster Risk Reduction (RRP-CCAM-DRR), the DSWD Field Office Caraga has conducted a 2-day Program Review and Strategic Planning on March 16-17, 2022.

Participated by all the program’s Project Development Officers (PDOs), the workshop aimed to come up with a regional implementation process for this year’s Province-led project implementation. In view of the CCAM-DRR Cabinet Cluster’s Resolution no. 3 series of 2019, the implementation transitions from municipal to provincial-led. A coherent implementation process was deemed significant for a more holistic project implementation. The workshop highlights the consolidation of takeaways and integration of good practices from the previous years’ implementation. Among the topics discussed were Implementation Guidelines, Enhancement of Monitoring Tools, and Presentation of Action Plans.

The participants, with their respective groups, participate during group discussions.

RRP-CCAM-DRR is a national program which aims to strengthen the resiliency of both natural systems and the urban built environment, as well as reinforce the adaptive capacities of vulnerable groups and communities in the country. The program utilizes the Cash-for-Work (CFW) modality to implement the different projects and activities related to Environmental Protection, Support to construction or repair of small-scale community infrastructure, and Livelihood projects.

At present, giving technical assistance to different provinces is ongoing. Different schedules are also set for the program orientations and meeting consultations with the LGUs.
