In its relentless commitment to eradicate hunger and poverty in the region, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga led the first quarter meeting for 2022 of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Regional Convergence Team (RCT) at the Pavilion, Watergate Hotel, Butuan City, on March 31.
The first EPAHP-RCT quarter meeting spotlighted the involved national agencies’ commitments and plans for 2022. EPAHP Caraga envisions to further involving more community-based organizations (CBOs) in the region as suppliers of food commodities of various government institutionalized feeding programs and even of private entities or facilities.
Moreover, this convergence project also eyes to enhance its efforts and initiatives in assisting the identified CBOs to have access to the different services of the participating national agencies so as to improve the CBOs’ marketing skills.
As the lead agency of this convergence program, DSWD FO Caraga awarded certificates of recognition to the different partner agencies to commend their commitment and participation in all EPAHP-related activities in 2021, thus, making EPAHP Caraga the “Most Active EPAHP RPMO” throughout the country last year.
