To ensure the monitoring and evaluation of completed sub-projects in Caraga Region, the DSWD’s KALAHI-CIDSS Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) conducted a SET Orientation to the Area Coordinators, including RPMO staff, on Monday, April 18, at the DSWD Field Office Caraga’s covered court.
SET process is part of the program design and features the monitoring and evaluation of the completed sub-projects, which should be conducted by the program stakeholders to look at the functionality of the completed sub-project.
The orientation also aims to check how the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Plan is being followed or implemented by the O&M group; and at the same time, to remind the O&M groups and the barangays of their responsibilities and accountabilities to sustain the functionality of the sub-projects.
KALAHI-CIDSS or the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services is one of the poverty alleviation programs of the government. It uses CDD (Community-Driven Development) as the over-all community development approach and strategy. The CDD approach ensures that development priorities are addressed in a participatory, collective, inclusive, and in demand-driven way.
