In the pursuit of strengthening the resiliency of both natural systems and urban-built environments, while providing income support to poor, vulnerable, and marginalized families, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga, conducted a Risk Resiliency Program – Cash-for-Work (RRP-CFW) payout in the municipality of Claver, Surigao Del Norte on July 8, 2022.
Through its Tree Growing thru Mangrove Reforestation and Riverbank Stabilization – Gabions Installation Project, around 500 beneficiaries were able to benefit and receive their remuneration for the 10 days CFW service, with a daily pay of Php320.
The Department clarified that schedule of payout would be possible soon as the completion of the project implementation and the compliance of pre-payout documents are completed and submitted. Also, identification of potential beneficiaries for CFW will be identified by the barangay based on the qualifications given by the Office.
