IN ACTION. One of the members of the Kamayo Producers’ Cooperative in Barangay Bigaan, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur tries their new Abaca Stripping Machine provided by the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga.

Through the intervention of the DSWD-SLP, the Kamayo Producers’ Cooperative received a livelihood grant amounting to Php300,000 which allowed them to procure a stripping machine for their Abaca business. (Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
