BUTUAN CITY – Members of the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program Caraga-Regional Convergence Team convened for their 3rd quarter convergence meeting at the Watergate Boutique Hotel, Butuan City on September 22.
The said meeting was led by the DSWD Field Office Caraga through the EPAHP Regional Program Management Office.
During the meeting, national agencies presented their respective updates and accomplishments for the quarter.
Aside from the partner agencies, officers from the 23rd Infantry Battalion participated in the activity as well. As potential demand partners of the Program, they were given an opportunity to share about the people’s organizations they have assisted. Members of these organizations are former rebels who decided to surrender to the national government.
The Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty is a convergence project of the national government that aims to mitigate hunger, ensure food safety and security, and reduce the poverty rate in the country. (Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
