As Tropical Storm Paeng severely hit the Southern part of Region XII, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office Caraga forwarded its augmentation support to the said region on October 29, 2022.

Field Office Caraga augmented 5,000 Family Food Packs, 1,000 blankets, and 600 malongs for the TS Paeng-affected families in Region XII. These items were directly dispatched at the Philippines Airforce Tactical Operations 12 Administrative Building, Awang, Datu Oden Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, and at the Cotabato City Hall, Cotabato City. This was done in close coordination with DSWD Field Office XII.

The Field Office is paying it forward to Field Office XII as the latter also provided augmentation support to Field Office Caraga when Typhoon Odette wrecked the region on December 2021.
