1,684 Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens (SocPen) Program beneficiaries from the municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur received their 4th Quarter (October – December) stipend worth Php1,500 at the Naliyagan Sports Complex in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, AdS, November 11, 2022.

DSWD Field Office Caraga Assistant Regional Director for Operations, Mr. Jean Paul Parajes visited the said payout to ensure the organized conduct of the activity. As of the moment, there are already more than 110,000 beneficiaries who received their 4th quarter stipend.

The Field Office will continue to conduct the 4th quarter payouts in the remaining municipalities/cities, in coordination with the LGUs through the Local Social Welfare and Development Offices, and hopes to complete it before the Christmas holiday.

The Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Program is government assistance in the amount
of Php500.00 monthly stipend to augment the daily subsistence and other medical needs of
indigent senior citizens every quarter per calendar year.
