The Department of Social Welfare and Development through the Sustainable Livelihood Program turned over livelihood projects to associations in Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Sur, just recently.
In line with its implementation of the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA), the provision of livelihood projects aims to help uplift the socio-economic status of families in conflict-vulnerable and afflicted areas and empower their role and capacities in society.
These are the associations that received projects from the program:

- Binicilan Katig Drivers SLP Association (Establishment of Motor Spare Parts and Community Store)
- Veruela, Agusan del Sur
- Barangay Poblacion Veruela SLP Association (Establishment of Tents, Tables, Chairs, and Delivery Tricycle)
- Barangay Sisimon Water System Association (Establishment of Tents, Tables, Chairs, and Delivery Tricycle)
- Sawagan Farmers Association (Farm Inputs and Agrivet Supply Projects)
- Limot Waity Manobo Farmers Association (Farm Inputs and Agrivet Supply Projects)
- San Agustin, Surigao del Sur
- Buhisan PAMANA Association (Rice Trading)
- Janipaan PAMANA Association (Copra and Abaca – Buy and Sell Project)
- Pong-on Women’s Association (Community Store)
- Tagbina, Surigao del Sur
- Doña Carmen Water User’s Association (Establishment of Water Refilling Station, Inc.)
- Lianga, Surigao del Sur
- Liatimco SLP Association
- Manyayay PAMANA People’s Association
PAMANA is a development program of the national government that is spearheaded by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity which focuses on the peace and order agenda of the country. (Social Marketing Section/DSWD Field Office Caraga)
